Trakt

Trakt is a service for tracking what you watch across multiple platforms. Dubby’s Trakt integration syncs your watch history so your progress is shared between Dubby and other services.

Features

  • OAuth authentication — Connect your Trakt account via the standard OAuth flow
  • Watch history sync — Import your Trakt watch history into Dubby and export Dubby history to Trakt
  • Ratings — Trakt ratings are included as a metadata source alongside TMDB, IMDb, and MDBList

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Trakt in the admin panel
  2. Click Connect to start the OAuth flow
  3. Authorize Dubby on the Trakt website
  4. You’ll be redirected back to Dubby with the connection established

How sync works

Trakt sync is bidirectional:

  • Export — Dubby sends your local watch history to Trakt
  • Import — Dubby pulls your Trakt watch history and marks matching items as watched locally

Sync respects existing watch states — it won’t unmark something you’ve already watched.
